General Introduction
The purpose of this web-page is to provide information to all employees and students at HST concerning rules and guidelines related to the working environment at the department.
In addition information concerning ethical rules and guidelines related to the performance of biomedical experiments is provided here.
Issues concerning the working environment and ethical issues concerning biomedical experiments can be directed to the Health and Safety Committee at HST.
This web page is under construction, but you should be able to get a basic introduction to the safety organization at HST from the present material.
Since our colleagues at The Laboratory for Stem Cell Research are subjected to different rules under The Working Environment Act a special web-page is under construction. So, if you are an employee at the stem cell laboratory, you must contact Brita Holst Jensen at ext. 7554 for further information.
In the following you will find material to a general introduction to the safety organization at HST:
- The folder Health and Safety at Department of Health Science and Technology gives a brief introduction to safety regulations, organization of the safety committee, and the responsibilities of the employees at the department
- Presentation of important issues concerning health and safety at HST, personal insurance and ethical issues in relation to biomedical experiments.
- Safety introduction checklist. Every employee has to confirm that he/she has received information concerning the individual points on the checklist (more information here).
